Advised Funds
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are easy to establish, flexible, and provide a measure of control for the donor. DAFs are charitable gift funds that accept tax deductible donations and invest these assets until the donor requests that grants be made from the fund to another IRS qualified charity. Effectively, DAFs allow the donor to have a private foundation without the expense and limitations of a private foundation. Significant additional benefits over the private foundation include complete privacy and additional tax advantages.
