PIAM Announces Charitable Donations
May 2014 - Physicians Insurance Agency of Massachusetts (PIAM) announced donations to five nonprofit organizations.
One of the donations will help fund Physician Health Services, a Massachusetts Medical Society subsidiary that provides confidential support to physicians facing concerns related to addiction, mental health issues, illness and stress.
PIAM is also a “Visionary” Contributor to the MMS and Alliance Charitable Foundation which awards grants to agencies across the state to support a variety of health and medical services.
Kathleen Finnerty-Schroth, president of PIAM said, "For over twenty years we've served the Massachusetts Medical Society's members and the health care community. It is a great honor that our success has enabled us to give back to organizations that support physicians and their patients."
PIAM was established in 1993 by the Massachusetts Medical Society to address the special insurance and financial needs of doctors.
